Back in early 2007, I met a man on the side of the road who drove a modest Toyota Corolla, wore a grungy, beer-stained flannel of a particular array of colors and textures, and had a polaroid of his late wife Tabitha pinned to his dash. This man was no ordinary man, but a shaman in disguise. Humbled by his presence, I asked him: “what is the secret of the universe?” And, as he emptied my wallet, he leaned in with a quiet whisper of wisdom: “screw that; go check out Neon Vanadium with Ejector Crab, Toy, and Silver Lining on February 1st, 2025 at the Mr. Roboto Project, they’ll melt your face off!” and just like that, my face was melted off, and my life was forever changed after that moment.
