About this concert
Vijf singer-songwriters (Amber Kamminga, Angie Flare, Kimmy June, Nina Lynn en Sylvia Aimee) kenden elkaar vaag via Instagram. Omdat ze de liefde voor de muziek en artiesten uit de Amerikaanse stad Nashville deelden, besloten ze samen om de tafel te gaan. Gewoon, om een beetje te kletsen en liedjes te schrijven. Het bleek een match made in heaven en er ontstond een hechte vriendschap. Ze zijn inmiddels vele schrijfweekendjes, roadtrips, dansen in de huiskamer en (bijna) twee Nashville reizen verder… tijd om deze unieke, muzikale vriendschap te delen met optredens door het land.
‘Songwriters ‘round the Table’ brengt het gemeenschapsgevoel, plezier en ambacht van liedjes schrijven – wat zo kenmerkend is voor Nashville – naar Nederland. Omstebeurt delen de songwriters hun liedjes en wordt er volop over verteld en met elkaar gezongen en gespeeld.
Beleef het verhaal van vijf meiden die elkaar vonden in hun eigenaardigheden en elkaar sindsdien door dik en dun steunen in de uitdagende wereld van muziek. Want dat is zoveel leuker dan alleen zijn. ‘Happy for me means happy for you.’

Kimmy June Biography
In the southern region of the Netherlands, on the hottest day of ‘94, a tiny girl with a big voice and an even bigger heart was born. Kimmy June (Kim van der Gouw) is a Dutch country singer-songwriter. She spent her teenage years living in Austria, where she developed herself further as a guitarist and as a singer. A series of self-composed songs quickly followed. Kimmy June's lyrics resonate with themes of introspection, personal growth, empowerment and emotional vulnerability. Her words often reflect inner struggles, self-doubt and the journey towards finding one's identity and purpose.
In 2023, Kimmy showcased het talent on The Voice of Germany. During her blind audition, she captivated the coaches by turning all their chairs with her rendition of ‘Jolene’, leaving a lasting impression with her distinctive voice and deep passion for country music.
Ronan Keating persuaded Kimmy to become a member of his team, arguing that she represents “the country star that Germany needs”. This amazing adventure led to numerous wonderful experiences, including the opportunity to perform a duet with Ronan during his 2024 tour in Germany.
Kimmy released her first single ‘Mellow Lark’ in 2020, a song about embracing your insecurities and how to deal with them. Inspired by her idols Miranda Lambert, Carrie Underwood, Dolly Parton and The Chicks, Kimmy is teaming up with producer Nick Jongejan and other singer-songwriters to create her debut EP. Her latest single ‘Jealous’, is now available for streaming!
