Join us for the first ever edition of L'Appel du Vide festival in Helsinki, Finland 2nd - 3rd May.
L'appel du vide honours Minimal wave, EBM, synth-punk, Dark Italo scenes and similar musical movements.
8 bands will play including 5 international acts. Among them two legendary headliners, Linear Movement (BEL) and PSYCHE (CAN).
Added to the party there are DJs from London, Paris, Antwerp and of course Helsinki. The festival takes place in KULT, where acoustic excellence and iconic design heritage meet.

MNGLXMPLR - Electronic music culture from Düsseldorf
Since 2011 the cult band Mängelexemplar is playing their way through the
international musical cosmos of the electronic music underground. The german synth duo from Düsseldorf brings
heavy synths with inescapable melodies, characterized by analogue sounds and cool synth sounds, inspired by New Wave from the early 80s.
Beautifully electronic, puristic and danceable, then again spherical, but also brutal.
The soundscapes with repetitive minimal wave structures are nostalgic and futuristic.
Lyrically, the two Düsseldorfers are not stuck in yesterday, but convey things in a charming way.
They bring the legendary electronic music culture of Düsseldorf into a new era. With fresh, catchy songs like it was en vogue in the 80s.
