nolongerhuman Biography
With over fifteen years of experience in creating harsh and dark electro-industrial music, nolongerhuman, the solo project from the American-based artist Clint Robertson, masterfully injects soul and beauty into a genre that is typically defined by volume and attack factor.
Formed in 2006, nolongerhuman has been active in the scene ever since, evolving both the sound and performance into a headlining act, playing innumerable festivals, touring the North American continent, and becoming a regular on both the DAC and GEWC, gaining a large and loyal fanbase across the globe.
With deeply personal lyrics and aggressive, danceable, hard-hitting beats, nolongerhuman’s expression is one of a reflection on humanity, society, and the struggle to be human in the distinctly inhumane times we live.
Live performances are intense, energetic, and all-encompassing, transmitting that same energy to the audience. Along with accompanying visuals, nolongerhuman provides an experience that will leave the crowd exhausted, exhilarated, and ready for more.
“nolongerhuman strikes back with a totally accomplished and banging piece of Dark-Electronics. I belief this work will be for sure one of the best productions from 2023 in its genre.” – Inferno Sound Diaries, Side-Line Magazine
“Although it is only the middle of spring, this record is probably the peak performance of new school dark electro this year. We think that with this publication, the bar in the genre has been set so high that it would be horribly difficult to even touch it from the get-go.” – NecrogenesiS – Magyar Industrial Webzine, Marionette Review (Hungarian, translated)
“nolongerhuman’s diary entry like lyrics set the band apart from some of the other industrial bands out now and the creepy sound to each track is delightful and well executed.” – Ovis Terrell Ross, Regen Magazine
