About this concert

Susanna will be coming to the festival Jazz Evidence on March 26th. Her latest project, Meditations on Love, explores the vulnerable forms of love, such as infidelity, betrayal, and broken trust. Together with co-producer Juhani Silvola, she has created an organic musical machine featuring saxophones, clarinets, varied instrumentation, and experimental percussion, inspired by everything from Tom Waits to Ethiopian soul. Susanna Biography

Susanna is the Norwegian artist and singer/songwriter who debuted as Susanna and the Magical Orchestra in 2001, and released her first album in 2004. Composer, interpreter of other people's songs and interpreter of poetry by Charles Baudelaire and Gunvor Hofmo, she has released 19 albums by August 2024. Highly active.
