VLKN

Hailing from Budapest, Hungary, with motivated and socially sensitive, willing-to-act musicians from local acts as Anchorless Bodies, Satelles or Hypocrites Breed, VLKN has been called to life by the purest will of letting friends write music without any pressure or expectations. During the past years the project became a working band with three European tours under their belt, including selected shows with the likes of Catharsis, Portrayal of Guilt, Reflections of Internal Rain (ROIR) or R.A.T.S. from Sweden.

Inspired by the heritage of Scandinavian crust punk and the influence of the CrimethInc. movement in terms of activism and the threatening atmosphere of metallic hardcore takes, VLKN’s characteristics are still bound to the bittersweet, Eastern-European spleen that shapes their songs.
