Cochren & Co. Biography
Michael Cochren is an award winning singer/songwriter and worship leader born and raised in a small Indiana town. After graduating from school, Cochren began playing music across the country with a band of friends, later including his wife Leah, under the name Cochren & Co. (pronounced Cochren and Company). With hope-filled lyrics and timeless melodies, Cochren & Co. blurs the line between American pop/rock and soul/blues to create a classic sound all their own. Cochren & Co. have toured coast to coast amassing a loyal following of new listeners wherever they go.
Nominated for a GMA Dove Award for New Artist of the Year, their debut full-length album Don’t Lose Hope was released on Gotee Records in 2021. The debut included three Billboard Top 10 Radio Hits “One Day”, “Who Can”, and the RIAA® Certified Gold single “Church (Take Me Back)”. The title track “Don’t Lose Hope” was featured in an episode of CBS’s MacGyver.
Cochren & Co.’s sophomore project, Running Home (2023), features the group's first No. 1 radio single with the title track as well as the 2022 Top 15 Billboard Christian Airplay & AC radio single, “Thank God For Sunday Morning,” which was listed as one of K-LOVE’s 22 Songs that Defined 2022. They received their second Dove Award nomination for Rock Recorded Song of the Year with the track “Future Glory” from the album ‘Running Home’. Cochren & Co. has been featured in various performances including GRAMMY.com’s Positive Vibes Only.
On June 13th, 2023 Cochren & Co. made their historic debut on the Grand Ole Opry and have since returned to the Opry stage multiple times. With a full touring schedule and more music on the way, Cochren & Co. are only getting started.
Cochren & Company have opened for artists such as TobyMac, MercyMe, Newsboys, Crowder, Jeremy Camp, Mac Powell, Tenth Avenue North, Sidewalk Prophets, 7eventh Time Down, City Harmonic, Chris August, NF, We Are Messengers and more.
