The Defiant

While creating a rabid local fanbase, The Defiant has grown to playing the top clubs in the St. Petersburg area. By establishing a solid bond with the owners & promoters of the State Theatre & The Local 662, The Defiant has established their stronghold in the Metal/Punk music scene. Their ascention speakes volumes about their songwriting, musicianship & professionalism. Their talents have gotten them the fortunate situation of sharing the stage with In This Moment, one of the hottest Rock/Metal acts in the country. While performing at the 10th Annual Rock Solid Pressure Showcase in front of Industry Insiders, their talent & stage presence was also noticed by Chris Kurtz from the Media Twist Group & he offered The Defiant a spot on the 6th Annual Rockaplaooza in Jackson Michigan in June of 2013. With over 12, 500 in attendance at last years Rockapalooza, The Defiant know that this opportunity is an excellent chance to showcase their talent to an unknown audience of music hungry fans. Along with the Rockapalooza performance, The Defiant are currently booking dates & taking their show to the road & hitting the stage all across the south, from Florida, Georiga, the Carolinas, Tennessee, Mississippi, Alabama, Louisana & Texas as well as a few dates up north including Ohio, New York, Pennslyvania & Maryland! The Defiant are hoping to continue to convert fans wherever they take over the stage & to spread their unique brand of Metal! Most recently, The Defiant were awarded Album of the Year from the Rock Solid Pressure Radio Show & it's listeners after receiving a proverbial flood of emails every time a Defiant track was played on the air! All 4 members of The Defiant were brought into the studio to share their story/adventure with the listeners & much chaos ensued!
