In between years

In Between Years, a folk-tinged rock group from NRW, Germany, present their self-released debut album “My Roots”. They continue their journey down the rabbit hole of “electrifying and energetic folk” and “baroque-tinged, dark indie rock”, which started on their 2021 self-titled debut EP.

And they have grown: what started as a three-piece has become an energetic seven-headed band. Their imaginative, pulsing and driving sound has matured and can be experienced during the 41 eclectic minutes of “My Roots”. The album title hails from Track 2 “My Roots (The Answers)” and is reminiscent of the groups diverse musical background ranging from jazz to singer-songwriter and metal.
