Hailing from Raleigh, NC, The Pseudo Cowboys perform a captivating blend of raucous original rock and roll, channeling the classic sound of great 70's rock-era bands and coupling it with a daring lyric style reminiscent of the early 1990's movement. Danceable rhythmic elements a la Prince and Michael Jackson can be heard in the mix as well. It's a unique brew.
Live, the band creates an exhilarating, foot-stomping, heart-thumping experience, with anthemic songs such as their single, "Nectarine." In the studio, the band further taps into more-nuanced aspects of the human condition. All in all, The 'Cowboys aim to create a put-your-cell phone-away-and-feel-the-music experience.
