For almost 8 years, New Jersey's Owls & Lions has been demonstrating that a wedding band can have an original sound, an original approach and play original material too. Guitarist Jay Della Valle, violinist Nicole DeLoi and Kevin Walters on drums perform often as both an acoustic Trio OR with more instrumentalists (bass, keys, sax, lead guitar) to form a 6-7 piece high power indie folk/rock/americana party band.

They passionately perform upbeat original Indie-Folk, built around the magic of a man and a woman’s shared vocals, performed authentically in a style reminiscent of celebratory, stylishly rustic Folk-Rock and equally suitable for ceremonies, sing-a-longs, parties and quiet reflection.

Owls & Lions most recent 2019 EP, There's a Light, features beautiful vocal harmonies, elegant strings, gentle acoustic music and lyrics that deal with love, acceptance, forgiveness, and persevering through conflict to find meaning, purpose and identity.
