Fifth Element jazz quintet is delighted to be returning to the Concert Series at Reid’s Distillery on Tuesday, December 10th, 2024 from 8:00 to 10:15 pm (doors open at 6:30). Enjoy fabulous drinks and delicious snacks all while listening to Dave Coules' arrangements of music from the Great American Songbook and more, including a few seasonal favourites! Kurt Lund will be in for Dave on tenor sax. Reid’s Distillery is located at 32 Logan Avenue, between Eastern Ave and Lakeshore Blvd. Tickets are $15 in advance (all proceeds go to the band); $20 at the door. The repertoire of the band draws from The Great American Songbook as well as jazz standards covering the swing, ballads, latin and hard bop genres. Our goal is to draw the audience in with musical treatments of this repertoire that are listenable, accessible and engaging.
