About this concert
Singer-songwriter Demos Papadimas (guitar/vocals/harmonica/bouzouki) skillfully intertwines American roots and rock ’n’ roll with Mediterranean influences. Based in Northeast Ohio, Papadimas cites among his influences Dylanesque folk as well as garage-blues revivalists like The Black Keys and Rembetiko—the “Greek Blues.” His current band lineup features Pete Drivere on lead guitar, Andre Ptichkin on bass, and Dylan Kollat on drums.
Papadimas’ latest release is titled The Way Up and is available on vinyl, CD, and digitally through Spotify, Apple Music, Bandcamp, and other digital platforms.
Drifting Thing describe themselves as "A songwriter accompanied by The Future Ghosts, bringing acoustic fronted indie emo to NE Ohio."

Singer-songwriter Demos Papadimas (guitar/vocals/harmonica/bouzouki) skillfully intertwines American roots music with Mediterranean influences. Based in Northeast Ohio, Papadimas and his band consisting of Dave Lynn (electric guitar), Ralph Rich (drums), Corey Gray (Upright Bass), and Caitlin Hedge (violin) have received considerable regional attention and maintained an active performance schedule.
Discussing his influences, Papadimas cites Dylan-esque balladry, Leonard Cohen’s latter-day touring ensembles, string-band revivalists such as Old Crow Medicine Show as well as Greek Rembetiko—the “Greek Blues.”
Papadimas' latest full length album, Waiting, was released in 2016 recorded with Pete Drivere at Ampreon Recorder in Youngstown, Ohio and released on both CD and vinyl. In December 2017, Papadimas and his band released The "Lucky You" EP.
