De Nederlandse band Blackbriar is wellicht een van de snelst stijgende sterren van de symfonishe metalscene. Het sirenenzang van de band zwelt verder aan terwijl ze zich blijven ontwikkelen tot ze hun meest filmische en verleidelijke vorm hebben bereikt. Ze gingen in 2023 samenwerken met het grote metal-label Nuclear Blast Records, brachten hun tweede album A Dark Euphony en kregen hiervoor veel lof van zowel fans als critici. Nadat ze eerder al eens in Patronaat stonden als voorprogramma bij Charlotte Wessels, komen ze op zondag 18 mei 2025 terug voor een headline show in Stage 1 met Solar Cycles als support!
Op YouTube hebben ze nu 61 miljoen views en meer dan 238.000 abonnees. Ook op Spotify doen ze het fantastisch, met meer dan 46 miljoen streams in totaal, 260.000 maandelijkse luisteraars, 1,4 miljoen streams per maand en 16 miljoen streams per jaar. Het is duidelijk dat de wereld al in de ban is van Blackbriars magische en duistere muziek, die als een sprookje betovert.
