Beautiful Waterboys Concert in Peccioli What a beautiful Waterboys concert it was in Peccioli, that magical Tuscan village! The Roman amphitheater of Fonte Mazzola provided a stunning backdrop, along with the surrounding landscape and Peccioli's famous giant, for a really powerful, high-energy rock show with a tight rhythm. The band was in great shape, with Brother Paul and Famous James absolutely tearing it up on keyboards and piano. Aongus and Eamon confirmed their prowess in the rhythm section, and Mike was a sure thing, as always! The show drew from the band's hits, all revisited in a very rock and energetic style. They played everything from "This is the Sea" to "Be My Enemy," passing through "A Girl Called Johnny" and "The Pan Within," right up to the unmissable "Fisherman's Blues" and "The Whole of the Moon." The Dylan cover, "Knockin' on Heaven's Door," was excellent, and the classic Prince track, "Purple Rain," closed out a truly thrilling show. Once again... "I've seen the Big Music and I'll never be the same."
