Benjamin Bell

Benjamin Bell is a Country and Americana Singer/Songwriter from Northern Colorado. Raised on an eclectic mix of American vinyl and country eight track tapes to the backdrop of a small Colorado farm, it was the surprise gift of a dreadnought guitar from a girlfriend his sophomore year in college that really sparked the songwriting journey. Pursuing Acting and Directing at Colorado State University helped to transform his songwriting into a stage presence and local performances soon followed. In 2016, he was a finalist in the regional competition "The Boot Grill Voice" and drew comparisons to Eric Church and Casey Donahew. A visit to Nashville in December earned him a spot at a Writer's Round in early 2017 at the Commodore Grille which snowballed into a busy 2017 splitting time between Northern Colorado's vibrant music scene and Nashville's incredible songwriting community. The year was highlighted with spots at FoCoMX Music Festival in Fort Collins and an opening slot on the main stage at Taste Of Fort Collins in support of The Gin Blossoms. He currently resides east of Fort Collins, Colorado and is looking forward to building on the successes and achievements of 2017 throughout the upcoming year as well as releasing some new, original music.
