Hugo Trist is an emerging Zurich-based artist who has lost his heart to melancholic yet energetic electronic music, embracing elements of future garage and synth wave. Having a flair for the syncopated beats of the 2-step garage era and the warm tones of analog synthesizers, he fuses ambient textures and emotionally charged melodies with soul-drenched vocals, creating a unique style of genre-blurring electronica. Since October 2023, Hugo Trist has released a series of singles through Mouthwatering Records. He has also played several live shows in Asia together with other artists. Currently, Hugo Trist is finalizing his debut full-length album, set for release in September 2024, while also working on arranging his music for live shows.
