CZUCHWICKI Biography
CZUCHWICKI is contemporary musician Jonty Czuchwicki - a second generation Australian from Adelaide, who belongs to a proud migrant family of Polish and Hungarian cultural background.
As a drummer, producer and audiovisual artist, CZUCHWICKI’s music practice is a fluid blend of electronic music production, sound design, traditional instrumentation and audio reactive visuals. CZUCHWICKi is influenced by a diverse range of movements, encompassing downtempo, ambient, house, techno, IDM, industrial, coldwave, metal and trip-hop, resulting in a distinctive and recognisable sound.
Jonty earned a B.A. in Music Performance and Entertainment Management from Collarts in 2021 and an M.A. in Music Production, Technology and Innovation from Berklee College of Music in 2023.
In 2021 CZUCHWICKI released their Reocurring Dream EP, and later developed an innovative AV show entitled Phosphenes. CZUCHWICKI debuted the Phoshenes AV show in May 2023 and released an EP of the same name in 2024.
