The Manhattan-based Erin Maya and The Reckoning takes you back to a time when lyrics actually meant something in a song.
Led by powerhouse vocalist/songwriter Erin Maya; classically trained members Uton Onyejekwe, Tristan McCoppin, and Simon Fishburn mix the sweet and catchy elements of pop-punk with gritty 90s alt-rock influences and feminist angst.
"Music allows me to express exactly what I'm feeling in a palatable way. I want people to listen to my songs and think 'Those lyrics could have been something out of my diary'. I hope people will relate and not feel alone. Real stories, real shit...not the generic, vague crap you hear these days." says Erin Maya.
