About this concert
Manitowoc Metalfest is BACK and BACK with a fury as we welcome Long Island New York's SUFFOCATION as our headliner for Year 2! Formed in 1988, Suffocation has released nine full-length albums, played over 2000 shows to date, and toured internationally...from the United States to Germany to Australia to Brazil. Suffocation is one of the absolute key bands in the development of the death metal genre and were pivotal as one of the most influential and emulated bands in the history of extreme music....and the pioneers of the now-infamous 'New York death metal sound'. They will be joined on the bill by: Micawber (Two Rivers, WI) Toxic Ruin (Sheboygan, WI) Reaping Asmodeia (Minneapolis, MN) Read My Scars (Manitowoc, WI) Seven Cities Dead (Milwaukee, WI) Squidhammer (Watertown, WI) Ghidora (Hannahville, MI) Funerary Outlook (Green Bay, WI) Daylight Riot (Green Bay, WI) Isaern (Green Bay, WI) Apex Aura (Milwaukee, WI) Bottom Shelf (Manitowoc, WI) This is an all-ages show...Alcohol with ID Craft beer, cocktails, soda, water, and food trucks. Re-entry with wristband. Buy tickets online

Bottom Shelf Biography

Unapologetically Original.

They've been direct support for Billboard®️ charting acts like Jonny Craig, Elijah, Of Virtue, For The Fallen Dreams, Sleep Signals, and fellow Wisconsinites, Versus Me. The boys in Bottom Shelf™ keep it interesting with a dual vocalist set up that showcases soulful cleans and dirty screams.

Even though B.S. is still pretty fresh to the scene, events in early 2023 forced a major lineup change on the team…The founding member and rhythm guitarist, Chance, stepped up to sing, and ever since, their newest releases would gain well over 500,000 streams (and counting). Needless to say, the boys won't let anything stop them from getting to the top.
