Program Biography
It’s been almost five years since the world first heard Australian band Program on their incredible debut, “Show Me” and we’re proud to be here with the announcement of the follow up. The Melbourne four piece return with their sophomore LP “It’s a Sign” and showcase their love of rock music once again.
Whilst still staying dear to the sentiments of “Show Me”, platonic childhood sweethearts Rory Heane and Jonathan Ross-Brewin put together a fresh batch of catchy, hook-laden rock’n’roll tracks to sing along to supported by James Tyrrell on the tubs and new member Charlotte Stewart holding it down on bass. “It’s a Sign” is a 37 minute glimpse into the shared psyche of Rory and Jonathan as more evolved songwriters, straddling the line between earnest self-expression and entertainment.
The duo recorded with Shane Jarvie-Khon of Moreish Audio and help from Anti Fade's Billy Gardner. The album captures their journey from songwriting to fruition in a fresh new direction that spans alternative to country to post punk, whilst still maintaining the classic guitar pop sound that is unmistakably their own.
Program’s second album “It’s a Sign” will be out June 7th via Anti Fade Records.
