About this concert
A afternoon with Detroit Music Award winning artists Carolyn Striho + Scott Dailey, and Mary McGuire.
Carolyn Striho + Scott Dailey
Carolyn Striho is a highly regarded Detroit songwriter, singer, performer, musician and poet whose songs are “from the silver edge of midnight (All Music Guide).” Carolyn’s alluring vocal delivery with a rock and roll folk/eclectic sound has reached audiences everywhere. She was back on The Grammy Awards First Ballot again this year 2024. She's also won eleven Detroit Music Awards. Carolyn’s performed on tour in Italy, England, and Japan, and with Patti Smith, Don Was in Detroit, with Iggy Pop, Joan Jett & The Blackhearts, Yoko Ono, Steve Earle, Sinead O’Connor, Tori Amos, and performed at Lollapalooza and much more.
Scott Dailey’s magical guitar playing, vocals and songwriting has led Scott to receiving Detroit music awards and acclaim. Scott has played throughout the world from Detroit to northern Michigan to Nashville and shows in in the U.K. and Italy. His career spans from The Stingrays to shows with Nick Lowe, The Ventures, Junior Walker & the All-Stars and more. As Inner Door Music said, “when Scott starts singing, people stop talking and listen.” He is a talented, respected artist with a delightful energy.
