Stray Arcade Biography
Stray Arcade is an alternative/indie rock band based in Nashville, Tennessee. The band consists of lead vocalist Kevin Babb, guitarist Jake Kimble and bassist Jameson Cunningham. Drawing inspiration from '90s Britpop and rock 'n' roll, Stray Arcade's style evokes The Charlatans, Teenage Fanclub, and The Dandy Warhols.
Their new single 'Fade Into Familiar' is a wistful ballad bolstered by a roving, bouncy bassline and an ardent vocal delivery. Penned by guitarist Jake Kimble, the lyrics ruminate on a compelling part-time lover and the impermanence of time. The band celebrated the song's release with a rowdy bash at East Nashville mainstay The East Room on Saturday, March 2, presented by Sky Daddy and supported by Jonny Lucas and The Welters.
