About this concert
Based in Philly, where David Bowie forged a career-long bond, beloved haZy cosmic jive performs a high energy Bowie tribute, including Ziggy-era classics, deep cuts and more. haZy cosmic jive is led by Zeek Mitchell (Z), who has collaborated with inner circle Bowie partners. This Ardmore Music Hall show will include their annual front-to-back performance of the epic June 1972 release of "The Rise & Fall of Ziggy Stardust & The Spiders From Mars.”

Vahe Sarkissian began his music career at the age of 14 touring the U.S. playing Armenian music. After studying music at The University of the Arts he focused on contemporary styles and honing a 2 handed-tapping style of guitar ala Stanley Jordan. He has performed with members of John Lennon and David Bowie’s bands in addition to opening up for artists such as Slash and The Roots.

The band is led by Z, a keyboardist and singer, who is also a noted solo artist that has collaborated with inner circle Bowie partners (such as Gail Ann Dorsey and Mario McNulty). Lead vocals are shared by Z and a front-line of three (3) other youthful and amazing band mates, including ...
-18 yr old multi-instrumentalist & singer, Camille K (America's Got Talent Season 17 sensation), playing keys & guitars and singing like an angel rocker;
-25 yr old phenom guitarist / vocalist / producer, Joey DiTullio;
-30 yr old multi-instrumentalist (keys, guitar, flute, trumpet) & singer (a cross between Bowie & Freddy Mercury), Jon Paul Smith (of Jon Smith's Voyages)
The rhythm section is held down by seasoned pro drummer, Freddy Berman (Amos Lee, etc.) and Joe Tassoni (Taz Bass).
Alternates include the amazing Phil D'Agostino (Get The Led Out) on bass, virtuoso guitarist Vahe Sarkissian, multi-instrumentalist Dan Kauffman, and drummers Brad Beaty and Dean Gorfti.
