The band seamlessly blends a wide variety of musical inspiration to create something based in classic surf, but extending far beyond anything surf-based that you may have heard before. From classic surf to punk and metal, the band even borrows some inspiration from jazz and psychedelic music. Daikaiju is every bit as entertaining as it is flowingly epic and aurally pleasing. Combining influences from multiple spheres of inspirational and stylistic reverberations, these human figures spin ethereal threads into auditory landscapes of mesmerizing exploration. Formed in 2009, the Quadroholics are a NOLA based duo consisting of Hayden Stelly and Billy Kurth. The duo’s unique sound is a combination of their Hip Hop roots with influences ranging from 1980’s Post Punk to modern Psychedelic Pop.
