About this concert
On June 15th, 2 PM, Convergence Ensemble and Adams Street Library, Dorchester presents the first public performance of Words and Music with the indomitable classical guitarist Aaron Larget-Caplan providing the music and mesmerizing poet and author Charles Coe supplying the words.
Featuring intimate performances, Charles Coe treats us to his own innovative poetry and prose interspersed with classic works from Langston Hughes, Walt Whitman, Emily Dickinson, Robert Frost, D.H. Lawrence and Mark Twain, alongside esteemed classical guitarist Aaron Larget-Caplan who will be showcasing his own original compositions alongside arrangements of classical masterpieces from Bach, Cage and more!
Words and Music was introduced at Convergence Ensemble's private fundraising Salon in December last year. It worked so well we had to make it public! Join us at 2pm at the Adam Street Branch of Boston Public Libraries on Saturday, June 15 2024.
