About this concert
Spafford is known for their astonishing improvisational ability and off-the-cuff extended jams, Spafford paints a picture in real-time each night with a musical palette known only to each other. It’s a private language comprised of both their talent as musicians as well as their formidable catalog of influences, spanning 90’s alt-rock radio hits to Steely Dan and The Crystal Method. Each Spafford show is a sonic pilgrimage, the journey of a team of musicians so in tune with each other that a single note communicates intent and purpose. Spafford is amongst the most creative and hard-traveling bands on the contemporary jam scene, performing countless sold-out headline dates along with high profile festival sets at Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival, Firefly Music Festival, and many others. ABOUT ORGAN FAIRCHILD: Hailed as a “fast-rising NY jam band” by Live For Live Music, and a group that's “making waves in the scene" by JamBase, Organ Fairchild craft their organ-trio-meets-rock-band sound — described as “adventurous, vital and alive” by Glide Magazine — by synthesizing influences ranging from The Grateful Dead and The Meters to Steely Dan, Pat Metheny and Santana. And when they're on stage completely captivating an audience without a bass player - and nobody singing - there is no confusing them for any other artist on today's scene. As FunkCity.net writes, “Get ready to be bowled over by this terrific trio - old school funk fusion with new era notions of jam.” ABOUT ORGAN FAIRCHILD: Hailed as a “fast-rising NY jam band” by Live For Live Music, and a group that's “making waves in the scene" by JamBase, Organ Fairchild craft their organ-trio-meets-rock-band sound — described as “adventurous, vital and alive” by Glide Magazine — by synthesizing influences ranging from The Grateful Dead and The Meters to Steely Dan, Pat Metheny and Santana. Organ Fairchild Biography

It only took 37 years!

Jam scene mainstays Joe Bellanti, Corey Kertzie and Dave Ruch met in 1983 as members of Buffalo NY Grateful Dead cover band “Wild Knights,” a group that still plays reunion shows to this day.

But it wasn’t until early 2020 that they wrote their first original music together, this time as three-piece instrumental organ trio/funky jam band Organ Fairchild.

The debut gig was just a month before COVID shutdowns, but the horse was out of the barn and the response was immediate!

Highlights of the band’s short life to date include:

* Four-set booking at 2023 Summer Camp Music Festival, IL (15,000+ attendance)

* Main stage appearance at Borderland Festival, East Aurora NY (7,000 attendance)

* Full band called out of the audience to sit in at sold out Andy Frasco & U.N. show 12/31/22 Town Ballroom

* Two sold out shows at Babeville’s Ninth Ward - Buffalo NY January 2023

* Tedeschi Trucks Band members sit-in March 2023

* Festivals and shows with Trey Anastasio Band, Goose, moe., Umphrey's McGee, Melvin Seals and JGB, Anders Osborne and Jackie Greene, Andy Frasco & the U.N., Sophistafunk, Dirty Dozen Brass Band, Dogs in a Pile, Sam Grisman Project, Magic Beans & many more

* Voted NY’s top emerging band (out of 64 groups) in 2021

* Video shoutout to the band from actress Morgan Fairchild

* Jambands.com Radio Charts Top 30 List (2x)
