Media Queen Biography
MEDIA QUEEN
Introducing Media Queen, a powerhouse project from Ogden, UT, led by Matt Parsons, former front man of Silentfilm, Isles to Augusta, and Headrec. KLAE former drummer of Sleep Signals and his side project KLAE. Dana Sauvan and Kade Ashton both from Ogdens own Unseen Corners. Along with James Fisher and Josh Hemming on guitars . Media queen draws inspiration from the sing-along punk rock vibes of Taking Back Sunday and Finch, as well as the heavier sounds of Coheed and Cambria, Sevendust, and Deftones.
In the last two years of musical exploration, Media Queen has crafted six albums that showcase their versatility and creativity. "Vices" kicks off the journey with its blend of heavy guitars and infectious hooks, while "Summer Static" channels the nostalgic radio rock of the early 2000s. "Horror" pays homage to cult classic horror movies, infusing metal, 80s synth, and gripping riffs into each track. "Hypnotized" captivates with its catchy hooks, heavy guitars, and synth beats, seamlessly blending brutality and beauty.”The End of Everything" delivers a dark hard rock experience filled with anthemic riffs and solos inspired by the end of the world. Void will be released in April and features space anthems , big guitars , and industrial synths.
Backed by decades of collective experience in studio recording, producing, and live performances across North America, the members of Media Queen are poised to take the stage in 2024 and leave audiences electrified.
