Joey Aich Biography
Joey Aich is a 30 year old hip-hop artist born in a small suburb of Cleveland called Woodmere Village, based in Columbus, OH. Spending now half of his life writing, Joey has put in the time carving out a distinct voice. He pays homage to his influences (Lupe Fiasco, TI, The Pharcyde) by painting his own life experiences in a similar meticulous detail. He focuses on flow and story development while regularly hopping on eccentric production.
Being praised by the likes of DJBooth, Dead End Hip-Hop and Columbus Underground, Aich has risen from mixtape campus rapper to one of the freshest voices in the Midwestern hip-hop scene. He has performed at Breakaway Music Festival, as well as supported Asher Roth, Curren$y, Super Duper Kyle!, and many others. His 2018 single Rope Break has been featured on Spotify's Mind Right and Fresh Finds: Fire Emoji playlists.
Aich's first 2019 release comes in the form of Zoom EP, which sees him matching ethereal, stripped-down production with some of his most contemplative anecdotes yet.
