Balboa is a partnered swing dance that originated in the 1930s in Southern California. Join us to learn the basics and start your journey social dancing! In this ongoing weekly progressive lesson we will teach you the basics of balboa and get you out on the dance floor. No experience or partner necessary. Grover Beach Community Center, 1230 Trouville Ave 6:30-7:30pm | Lesson 7:30-9:30pm | Death and Taxes Swing Band Venue Closed on the Third Friday of Each Month. Check the schedule for dates. How to sign up The $15 lesson price includes the option to stay after class for DJ'd social dancing from 7:30-9:30 pm. Anyone & all levels are welcome for this fun community event!
