SARU Biography
SARU is a R&B singer-songwriter from Stockholm, Sweden. Her sound offers a sensual, rough, and unique approach to R&B; gathering influences from the genre’s 90s and early 00s eras. The lyrics and uptempo melodies, reflecting her thoughts and emotions, play smoothly on the warmth of the accompanying production.
In 2023 she released her debut EP 'Moodring' which was critically acclaimed by music journalist and editors. The Swedish Music Critic Per Sinding-Larsen described the EP as ”classically well made” & it was highlighted by Apple Music editors in both the US & the UK. SARU is getting ready to release her first single from her sophomore EP that will be released in 2024.
