Into The Streets is excited to announce the launch of a FREE, monthly party taking place the first Thursday of every month from 5-10pm in the streets of Downtown San Francisco, in partnership with the Civic Joy Fund, The East Cut CBD, Yerba Buena CBD, and 111 Minna Gallery.
This new street party will run monthly from May 2, 2024 to April 3, 2025, bring thousands of people downtown, and feature an exciting lineup of music, performance, food, shopping, and art.
Get ready for disco in the streets, DJs, live music, drag, martial arts, fashion, street performances, and many more surprises.
We’re proud to be hosting KALW, broadcasting from the 111 Minna Gallery Zappa Room, and exhibiting the amazing artwork of Mike Davis and Michael Kerbow, two long-standing favorites of the gallery, who are displaying their latest pieces in two separate exhibitions: Survivors Of The Plague and Reversal Of Fortune, respectively. We’re excited to be a part of this Downtown revitalization project alongside a host of other creative partners, legendary bars, event spaces, and galleries. Together we’re poised to help reinvigorate downtown – utilizing the arts to remind people that creativity and imagination are what have historically brought people to San Francisco, and is the best way to do so again.
The fun takes place on 2nd Street (between Market and Folsom) and along neighboring alleyways on Jessie, Minna, and Natoma Streets. The event will also feature two outdoor bars on Minna and Natoma.

Known for his eclectic and international taste-making DJ sets, J Boogie has rocked massive festival stages, intimate clubs, underground radio and everything in between. The Bay Area producer, DJ and leader of J Boogie’s Dubtronic Science specializes in getting the party started with his original style.
You can hear his masterful mix of culture, soul, rhythm and beats through the award-winning radio show “Beatsauce” on KUSF 90.3fm & Brooklynradio.net, earning awards such as "Best Hip–Hop Radio Show" by SF Bay Guardian and "San Francisco’s Best Radio & Club DJ" by citysearch.com.
J-Boogie has also earned himself worldwide success and a global fan base spinning DJ sets in countries like Colombia, India, Japan, and Spain, traveling in both the club and festival scene. He’s been a featured artist at Coachella, Bonnaroo, Bumbershoot, Outside Lands, Treasure Island Festival, Earthdance, Harmony Festival, High Sierra Music Festival, Lighting in a Bottle, Sundance, Winter Music Conference, SXSW, Power to the Peaceful, the 2010 Winter Olympics plus tours with Bassnectar, Spearhead, Herbaliser and Widespread Panic.
By popular demand, J-Boogie’s DJ skills have also landed him bookings in world-class clubs such as Turntables on the Hudson, APT, Cielo, Hudson Hotel, The Palms Hotel, Halo, 18th Street Lounge, The Nokia Theatre, Temple Bar, Afro Funke, Root Down, Firecracker, The Do Over, Deep LA and more.
Incorporating musicians and vocalists into a live band/DJ fusion set, J-Boogie has truly re-defined the concept of what it is to be a DJ. He brings this style to life with his band “Dubtronic Science” featuring a full horn section, Latin percussionists and MC’s. Performing as a solo DJ or with the full band, J-Boogie is always guaranteed to get the party started.
