Kaifeck Biography

"Kaifeck" is a five-piece underground band from Pfaffenhofen a.d.Ilm (Germany) that's been playing sophisticated Modern Metal since their formation in 2016. Their music is influenced by the different tastes of all band members and is best described as contemporary and progressive Metalcore.

Their much anticipated debut album "Rebirth" was released on May 28th 2021 and comprises 10 tracks with a total playing time of 45 minutes. Through the collaboration of all band members, Kaifeck was able to single-handedly record, produce and publish their album. The lyrics cover diverse social and philosophical topics, like the momentary nature of time in Infinite Dive or the everlasting war with oneself in Mars Arise. Their music contains heavy riffs and impelling drums paired with prominent bass lines as well as intoxicating melodies and harmonies. No matter if head banger, mosher, wall of death fan or connoisseur of music rich in contrast, everybody gets their money's worth.

Kaifeck is currently working on their second album, which will tell the band's eponymous story of Hinterkaifeck. It is based on a true murder case that took place over 100 years ago in a small, isolated farm house close to the band's home town and cost the live of 6 people. It remains unsolved to this day. The album will delve deep into the depths of human abysses, of conspiracy in a community, of secrecy and betrayal and will try to capture the aura of darkness that continues to surround the place and its myth.

In 2024 the band was able to play several gigs in and around Munich in front of several thousand people in total. In May, they won the second place in Europe's biggest live band contest "SPH Music Masters" for the 2023 season.
