Le Driadi Biography
Alessandro Cornio is a musician with over ten years of experience in the singer-songwriter scene. In 2022, along with his friend, bassist Alessandro Scacchi, they participate in jam sessions in the Turin underground scene, where they meet drummer Riccardo Guidarini, with whom they find a strong musical connection. The trio performs improvised busking, achieving growing success. In 2023, the group discovers the world of folk dances, which becomes a true passion. They travel throughout Europe, immersing themselves completely in the balfolk culture. The birth of "Le Driadi" combines Italian and foreign indie-pop singer-songwriter music with the tradition of French balfolk. With the addition of violinist Diana Imbrea, the group is complete, creating an engaging mix that transcends tradition and explores new boundaries.
