Spectacular. I was so delighted to find out that Kaz only lives about an hour away from our home in France and the fact that she performed at a time when her whole life was turned upside down, was extra special. Originally from Belfast and now living in France, Kaz Hawkins has been singing for almost 30 years, but she has been known, mainly in Europe, for her own repertoire: texts strong in emotion, charged with her personal history, placed on a music that oscillates between folk, blues, soul and gospel.
