Not Your Saints Biography
Not Your Saints (NYS) is a multidisciplinary project by Helen M. and Ben V., dedicated to the creation of a nurturing and introspective artistic space. Their journey began in 2015 when the two first crossed paths in Berlin, resulting in a deep friendship and a series of musical collaborations that culminated in the birth of NYS.
Taking cues from the minimalist sensibilities of artists like James Blake, Bon Iver, and Sevdaliza, NYS blend elements of experimental pop with futuristic electronic aesthetics. In 2022, NYS introduced the world to their creative prowess with three singles that garnered critical acclaim from influential voices, including the esteemed LA-based music blog Earmilk and Berlin's prominent radio program, Flux Fm Radar.
NYS has a series of single releases lined up for 2023 & 2024, building anticipation for their debut album launch.
