Please come join us for The Blue Ridge Flower & Garden Festival on May 19, 2024! This festive event will be held at the beautiful Greene County Community Park; 512 Jeri Allen Way, Ruckersville, VA 22968. We will be showcasing plants, outdoor living, gardening products, and services. We encourage you to come out and join us to help promote the beautification of the community and encourage environmental stewardship here in Greene County. Tommy Wood Biography

Born and raised in Ruckersville VA, Tommy’s musical seeds of faith and family were planted in rich, melodious soil, for a bountiful crop of country music. Tommy has recorded 8 studio albums. His latest album, 523, has been nominated for Album of the Year at The 2023 Josie Music Awards in Nashville TN. Tommy recorded the new album with top tier Nashville musicians including guitarist Bobby McKee (Craig Morgan, Tanya Tucker), bassist, Robby Meadows (Ben "Cooter" Jones), steel guitarist, Rusty Danmyer (Alan Jackson), drummer, Garth Justice (Reba McEntire), Piano, Tim Siden (Daryle Singletary) and background singer, Kelly Schoenfeld.

Tommy’s music is full of lyrical twists mixed with thoroughbred twang. He has performed hundreds of shows on the east coast and Midwest sharing the stage with many National acts. His biggest influences come from Haggard and Jones to Daryle Singletary. Tommy’s fans regard him as a Balladeer and Certified Down-home Country Singer. Tommy is married with 3 children. His family farm produces and supplies hay for local residents in his community.
