Ray Rizzo

Ray Rizzo = drummer/multi-instrumentalist, singer, writer, actor and producer based in Brooklyn NY with deep ties to the music scene of Louisville KY. He has played on Grammy-winning/nominated records and performed in NY Shakespeare Festival in Central Park. He performed on David Letterman's Late Show sporting a mullet and has peed at length onstage and in character. He has worked with Yo Yo Ma, Bob Weir, Trixie Whitley, Anais Mitchell, Josh Ritter, Days of the New, Aerial M (David Pajo), Glen Hansard, Rhett Miller, Bridget St. John, Dawn Landes, Justin Vivian Bond, King Kong, Sam Cohen, Danger Mouse, Tara Jane O'Neil, and Tyrone Cotton. When not performing in the role of sideman, Ray plays under his own name and also in the improvisational trio Java Men and the Fleetwood Mac tribute Back 2 Mac.
