Split Moon returns to Vine in Long Beach on Saturday June 1 with Thread Count and DJ Bill Gazer for an evening of heavy shoegaze, slowcore, and space rock. Split Moon - https://linktr.ee/SplitMoon Split Moon’s debut album Slow Satellite was called “a howling, sooty-thick, blasting, mesmeric shoegaze with space rock/psych suggestions” by Jack Rabid of Big Takeover Magazine. The band was formed by singer/guitarist Mark Starr, veteran of straight-edge pioneers Insight and Estrus Records garage punks The Gimmicks. Their latest release Gold-Diggers Live Session was produced by Dave Trumfio (Soft Kill, Built to Spill, Mekons). Split Moon is completing the final mix of their new album. Bill Gazer - https://www.instagram.com/billgazer/ Bill Gazer is a visual artist from Long Beach who has done projections for festivals and concerts including Levitation, Desert Days, and Slide Away. He is also an accomplished DJ and selector with deep bins full of shoegaze and psych rock.
