The story of Morning After Dark began in 2020 as a bold 2-man project by Steven Mahler (Vocals) and David Silva Ribeaux (Guitar). Inspired by "From Dusk Till Dawn" and the captivating song "After Dark", they embarked on their journey into the unknown.
Their debut EP "The Inner Voice" in 2021 showcased their versatility with five diverse songs. In 2023, the band strengthened with the addition of David Klemme (Guitar) and Thilo Fenster (Drums), who brought years of experience to complement the group perfectly.
With aggressive riffs, powerful drums, and captivating melodies, the band found their place in the Metalcore scene. Their lyrics explore a wide range of themes, from inner struggles to social critique.
Each release since their first single and EP "The Inner Voice" has demonstrated continuous growth in songwriting and production. Their latest single "Set Me Free" pays homage to the Metalcore sound of the 2000s.
