About this concert
Kia ora Aotearoa!
The ‘Middle Earth Mayhem Tour’ sees us hopping across the pond for our first ever tour of New Zealand and gee wiz we are so bloody excited. Four shows spread across the North and South Islands should give us a pretty good idea whether the meat pies are really better than in Australia and we have never been more ready to find that out.
Very stoked to have some ripper local bands joining us on this run.
Grab your tickets now ya legends - we can’t wait to see ya!

Beddy Rays Biography
Beddy Rays started making music together soon after they first met on the primary school oval back in the day. The release of weekend anthem ‘Sobercoaster’ in 2020 really started shaking things up for these fun-loving larrikins. The cracker of a tune echoed throughout backyards of Australia during triple j’s Hottest 100 of 2020 and has now amassed over 11 million streams.
It’s an understatement to say that 2022 was a massive milestone year for the band. Their highly anticipated and fully independent debut self-titled album landed them Spotlight Album on triple j and peaked at No. 8 on the ARIA Album Chart (as well as No.1 Vinyl and No. 2 Australian Album in release week). The band was nominated for ‘Breakthrough Artist’ at the 2022 ARIAs and lead single ‘Handful’ came in at #87 in the Hottest 100 of 2022. There were no signs of slowing these four down in 2023. They kicked the year off with appearances at Falls Festival and Splendour in the Grass, international tours and landed #17 in the Hottest 100 Like a Versions of all time.
These days it’s almost impossible not to recognise a Beddy Rays track, as their music has become a distinctive and carefully curated recipe involving all the right ingredients: heartfelt lyrics, huge hooks, mosh-worthy riffs and a lingering sense of comradery and good vibes that underpins everything they create. With humble personalities and a knack for knowing how to have a bloody good time, everyone wants to be friends with Beddy Rays.
