marc todd Biography
Marc Todd is currently residing in the North West of England.
In 2021, he released my debut album through Glasstone Records, earning critical acclaim. As he gears up fot upcoming releases, he's had the honor of being featured on the Soho Radio Show and performing at various festivals across the United Kingdom.
Critics have praised my music, describing it as :
"real-life journey through Todd’s emotive, stripped-back sound" (Adam England,NME, The Guardian, Kerrang, Vice, Independent, Dazed).
They note a distinctive blend of acoustic prowess and soul-searching lyrics, drawing comparisons to artists like Kasabian and Bobby Gillespie (Primal Scream) - a sentiment echoed by the Listen 2 This Podcast.
British Youth Culture appreciates the variety in my songwriting, from the Kasabian-esque 'Feel Like A Hurricane' to the acoustic beauty of 'Always I Know.'
Recording at Westpoint Studios with renowned producer Shane Shanahan, known for his work with Jeff Beck, Primal Scream, Dave Stewart, and more, has been a privilege.
Throughout his career, he's graced esteemed venues nationwide, including The ZombieShack, The Thirsty Scholar, Retro, O2 Islington, Amersham Arms, Fiddlers Elbow, Nambucca, and more.
Currently, he's working towards releasing my first EP and second album.
