Music curated by Night River, a successful music promoter based in Frome, specialising in magically intimate micro concerts and led by resident songwriter, DG Solaris. The Miserable Rich Folk pop legends, The Miserable Rich formed in 2007 and quickly gained recognition for their string-laden, beautifully crafted music. Their unmistakable sound, blending elements of indie folk and chamber pop, has garnered critical acclaim, a dedicated fan base and numerous festival, TV and radio appearances at home and abroad. After many years on hiatus, the band got back together to record their first album in over a decade. 'Overcome' came out in February 2024 to rapturous critical and fan acclaim. Blessed with a warm and affecting voice, sung from the heart, he has spent the last decade or so converting audiences across the world. Previously known as Laish, he delivered four albums of wry, eccentric guitar pop and in 2020, he released his first as DG Solaris. As a performer, Danny is a rakish front man, making the audience laugh in one song and reducing them to bitter tears in the next. He recently moved to Frome where he founded a successful series of magically intimate micro concerts known as Night River. The Line Of Best Fit Holly Henderson Holly Henderson is a fantastic songwriter and two times PMA nominated Producer/composer from Kent. She recently released her debut record, The Walls to critical acclaim. Raised on a diet of Jethro Tull, Pink Floyd, Bowie, and Fleetwood Mac, she has spent a lifetime playing in punk bands, composing music for various commercial projects and has spent the last few years exploring her own solo voice, and what a voice it is.
