Born in Okinawa.
Berklee College of Music graduates.
Began his career in Boston in 2001.
Performed in Shanghai, China from 2004 to 2005, and moved back to Los Angeles, USA in 2005, then to New York.
In 2007, formed the band "element of the moment" in Okinawa.
In 2009, moved to Tokyo and started the project "Trickstewart Band". In addition to his own band activities and activities as a support drummer, he also works as a producer and arranger.
In 2015, moved to Berlin, Germany. After four years of musical activities, returned to Okinawa in 2019.
In 2023, akira.drums' first album "we have only one season", which was recorded and mixed by himself, was released.
Currently, he is active in music mainly in Tokyo, Berlin, and Okinawa, and also serves as a director of music events in his hometown of Okinawa.
