About this concert
Chilean Post-Rock goliaths, La Bestia De Gevaudan - fresh from their stellar set at Dunk!Festival over in Belgium - and during their UK / EU tour - take to the stage at 33 Oldham Street, Manchester. Having just performed with the likes of Sleepmakeswaves, This will Destroy You and Emma Ruth Rundle; this promises to be one of the loudest and heaviest shows we'll play this year! Manchester based post-rock quartet Civil Service return with more new songs; ahead of the release of their debut record in late 2024. Claw The Thin Ice round out the bill. The Mancunian experimental rock band return with new music, having already released an extensive back catalogue including a record produced by Joe Clayton (Pijn / Curse These Metal Hands) at the notorious No_Studio.

Civil Service Biography

Civil Service (stylised Civil /// Service) are a dynamic post-rock band from Manchester (UK). Having built a reputation for combining lengthy musical movements with frenetic energetic performances - the band released debut EP Life /// Death in 2022. LIfe /// Death took Civil Service across the county in support of the record, opening for the likes of And So I Watch You From Afar, BLACKSHAPE, Codices, Mountainscape, LOE (Last of Eden) and Din of Celestial Birds. 2023 brought more consistent shows on post-rock bills - and the recording of their debut album, at Crystal Ship Studios in Sheffield, with producer Dave Sanderson. The record is due for release late 2024.
