About this concert
Join us on Sunday, May 26th ~ Doors at 1:30 p.m. // Starts at 2:00 Syncretic Liturgy: A Service of Witness to The River We are bringing back a congregation to Prophecy Hall for another righteous assembly that employs traditional customs to deviate from convention. As the sun returns, bringing us more and more light, we see more clearly our interconnectedness with all beings and our collective need for light, sustenance, and WATER. Let's spend an hour celebrating and revering the great estuary by which we reside through song, witness, and laughter. Like the mighty Hudson, this service will be brackish: a little smooth, a little salty; and all heart. With energizing music brought to you by Annalyse & Ryan, Gavin Hecker, Gwen Laster, Damon Banks, Jeremy Schonfeld, Gus Schonfeld, and Semra Ecrin; a reading performed by the illustrious Twinkle Burke; a prophecy and even a sacrifice from powerhouses Joanna Castle Miller and Lisa Pertoso; a surprise ordainment; and a call to inspired action on how you can give back to your river, ensuring its health and life for years to come. You don't want to miss this power hour of earthly love! Kids' Activity & Participation: We will be holding an earth material-based craft session beforehand in the fellowship hall. Children are welcome to come, create a piece of art, and write or draw an intention for the earth onto their clay. During the liturgy, we will make space for our "river of intentions," inviting our young ones to walk down the aisle with their artwork. Gathering for craft creation begins at 1:30, and the liturgy service begins at 2. Original Art in Event Cover Photo by Chris Ams. https://chrisamsart.com Doors open at 1:30. Service begins at 2:00 p.m. $15 suggested donation, sliding scale at the door, kids 12 and under are free. Cautionary advisory: Segments may contain adult language. Limited parking available: walking and biking are encouraged, or there is free parking at municipal plaza (city hall), MTA lot or Beekman street on Sundays https://prophecyhall.com/

Annalyse McCoy Biography

Annalyse grew up in the mountains of eastern Kentucky performing in professional musical theatre and singing country music at fairs and festivals beginning at the age of 8. A "Real McCoy," descended from the famous family who feuded with the Hatfields, Annalyse attended Northern Kentucky University receiving a BFA in Musical Theatre. Shortly thereafter, she moved to NYC to pursue a career in theatre and/or music. After several years of NYC and regional theatre, the music took hold with 2/3 Goat, Annalyse's original project with her husband Ryan Dunn. The two have since branched off as creator/producer/songwriting duo Annalyse & Ryan. Having won multiple awards (most recently in 2024, when their song "Tough Luck" was given silver in Adult Contemporary in SAW's Mid-Atlantic Song Contest) and garnering a good amount of media attention (American Songwriter, No Depression, Huffington Post, and more), their original songs have taken them across the US and to Europe on tour. The two now reside in the Hudson Valley. Aside from their original music, Annalyse & Ryan have also written songs for television & commercials (Mattel, Thunderworks) and provided documentary scoring (Global Mosaic, PBS in LA). Their original songs have also been featured on CBS, BBC, Amazon Prime, and more. At the heart of Annalyse's songwriting is the art of telling the story.
