Before Arcadia

Before Arcadia, there was a journey of four wandering artists who had no idea what was in store for them. After the alt rock band formed in summer 2023, the warmest summer on record, they took to the proverbial pen and began writing their first single, “When There’s Darkness”, a rock ballad often compared to the styles of U2 and The Killers.

With their second single, “Let Go”, officially released in March 2024, the group ups the stakes with a high-energy, free spirited anthem that will have listeners rocking out as they let go into spring. A spring which will also see the debut of Before Arcadia’s first EP.

Fronted by Markus Zakaria, with guitarist Ethan Elmore, bassist Mike Bailey, and drummer Nicole Cognato; this group has taken off the starting line by force, and drives ahead with the determination, will, and action to get crowds around the world hearing our stories, dancing till their feet hurt, and joining us as we all reflect on the lives we led, Before Arcadia.
