Honeychild Coleman

Knife Thrower, born of the ashes of their latter rock group #SkeletonKey, is led by frontman Erik Sanko (@skeletonkeyerik, The Lounge Lizards, John Cale, James Chance & the Contortions, Ui, and SQÜRL.) Featuring two #drummers, two saxophones, #bass, and vocals, they're an eclectic (often hectic) symphonic blend of the signature, unwavering, and raw No New York sound the aforementioned bands were known for. Egged on by vivid angsty lyrics from Sanko, both drummers bring a #punk edge to the #funk sound of the #saxophones, making #music that's slightly unwieldy, odd, and crudely sophisticated, like throwing a knife.
