I had been looking forward to this concert since last year, when they opened for the Dandy Warhols in Brussels, but I got there so late that I only heard three of New Candys' songs. I didn't know much about the band then, but I knew I wanted to see them again. The concert at Poppodium did not disappoint. "Front row" for the whole concert. I look forward to seeing them again in the future.

New Candys Biography
Concocted with only the darkest of deviant rock'n'roll ethos and distinct melodic distortions, New Candys are one of the most important bands to have emerged from Italy in recent years. Led by songwriter and singer-guitarist Fernando Nuti with bassist-keyboardist Dario Lucchesi, the lineup is completed with Emanuele Zanardo on lead guitar and backing vocals and Francesco Giacomin on drums and sampler.
