Join Gaelynn Lea for a LIVE concert on Sunday afternoons featuring live-looped violin, original songs, and a different special guest every episode!
On Sunday, May 19 at 2 pm CT, her guests will be the folk singer-songwriter duo, The Roe Family Singers. Quillan and Kim Roe are a husband and wife team leading 'a good-time, old-time hillbilly band from Kirkwood Hollow, MN.’ Gaelynn will chat with them about their roots in traditional music, Appalachian clogging, making music as a couple, and their latest album, Sisters and Brothers.
Gaelynn Lea will close out the show with a couple of her original songs. Captions will be provided for Deaf and hard-of-hearing audience members.

Gaelynn Lea Music Biography
Gaelynn Lea won NPR Music’s Tiny Desk Contest in 2016, and not long after she hit the road with her husband Paul. So far she has toured in 45 states and 9 countries, captivating audiences around the world with her unique mix of haunting original songs and traditional fiddle tunes. Gaelynn Lea has appeared in several major festivals over the years, including SXSW, Winnipeg Folk Festival, and Reykjavik Arts Festival. She has also opened for well-known bands such as Wilco, The Decemberists, LOW, The Jayhawks, and the industrial rock supergroup Pigface.
